Hi! Totally off-topic for this newsletter, but I thought some of you might find this info relevant if you’re expecting for the first time (or not the first time!).
I made a concerted effort not to buy much in terms of clothes—it was kind of a fun challenge, though it soon became clear that some things were absolutely essential. Maternity leggings, for example. I bought a mix of maternity and non-maternity styles with the intention to keep wearing most of them postpartum and beyond. So far that’s true with very few exceptions.
On this list I’m including things to buy, but also things to do for your mental health and a healthy pregnancy and smooth (as possible) delivery. Not to add any pressure because you’re busy enough already! I’m not here to create work for you. I’m only listing things that really made a difference to my enjoyment of my pregnancy.
Let’s dive in.
P.S. I’m still offering 20% off paid subscriptions until the end of February to celebrate two years of The Bell!
